I want to introduce you to my newest design today: the Southern Cross Ring.
The Southern Cross is the most recognisable constellation in the Southern Hemisphere, and is commonly used as a symbol to represent Australia. It’s a symbol integral to our culture – most fundamentally, it is represented on our flag.
I use a metal punch to freehand each Southern Cross – so no two will ever be exactly the same. I then oxidise the ‘stars’ so they stand out against the silver.
This ring would make a lovely wedding band. It comes with a gorgeous brushed finish, and is made in Australia from 100% recycled sterling silver.
I made the prototype to fit my pointer finger, so I’m going to enjoy wearing it!
You can check it out in store here.
Great design idea Jess. Sure to be very popular.
