Summer is pretty much here in South-East Queensland, and anyone who lives here – or anywhere else sub-tropic or tropical knows what that means. Yep – RAIN! And lots of it.

Summer storm many nights of the week – the kind that roll in late afternoon after a hot and muggy day, and pour a deluge of water on our heads over a short period of time – usually accompanied by copious lightning and thunder. Ahh, the blissful cool after the storm breaks is a quintessential summer experience in this part of the world.
