Simplicity can often bring the greatest beauty.

There are some eternal concepts in geometry and mathematics that humans have developed in order to try to explain the world around us – and the Golden Ratio is one of these concepts.

Related to the Fibonnaci Sequence (where each number is the sum of the two preceding ones), and also known as the divine proportion, the Golden Ratio is often represented by an ever-increasing spiral.

If you’ve ever watched the game show QI – you’ll see this spiral on the front of the desks!

It’s a shape that is also often seen in the spiral pattern of plants in nature.

I’ve created these Golden Ratio earrings as a physical representation of this spiral!

These are crafted from sterling silver, and come in either a silver or oxidised silver finish.

They are beautiful in their own right, but would also make a lovely gift for any mathematicians, maths teachers, artists, or anyone else who appreciates a good ratio!

Speaking of geometry – there’s nothing more simple and perfect than a circle.

Today I’m launching the new reversible hoop earrings – also available in either a silver or oxidised finish.

These are unique in that they are an open hoop – with a stud on one end to hold them in place.

Much like the Golden Ratio earrings, you can wear these either forwards or backwards!

They are a delicate design – given that they are an open hoop, they are prone to deforming if they are caught on anything, so please be gentle with them while you are wearing them.
